The mayor of A Coruña was in charge of inaugurating the IV Forum RIES2019 regarding the International Challenges of the Health Ecosystem 2019, organized by the Galician Health Cluster. A meeting between the main agents of the social health sector in the public and private spheres at a European level to address the challenges and opportunities of the health ecosystem.
The challenge of the silver economy, a sector that seeks to meet the demand of senior consumers, is the theme of the IV International RIES Forum. A conference aimed at professionals who must prepare for the challenge of aging population from the perspective of research opportunities, innovation, job creation, boosting the economy and improving services for the elderly. A meeting of debate and exchange through direct contact with the main actors, who will share their work and will present their advances and experiences in the field under active and healthy aging.
During the pre-session, that took place on October 23rd the European neuroATLANTIC project, where the CSG leads the transfer of research in degenerative diseases, was introduced.
The Mayor emphasized the work of the promoter of the conference, the Galician Health Cluster, a non-profit organization whose main objective is to boost the competitiveness of the Galician health industry by contributing to its economic and social development through cooperation between all the institutions: “With your work you focus on a priority sector in a society that demands more and more answers every day,” Rey said.
